One of the most surprisingly satisfying books I have ever purchased on African tribal art......I had previously had little or no interest in African Seats, but this wonderful book features such a great selection of African seats, as well as an excellent text, descriptions and field photographs, that it is impossible to resist. Features memorable and striking seats from the Gere, Asante, Sudanese Savannah, Guinea Coast, Cameroon, Central Africa and East & Southern Africa. It is fascinating to see how beautifully crafted and artistic these seats and stools can be. Highly recommended and still realisically priced.
